Water Restrictions Commence May 1st. 
Even numbered houses may water on even days,  and odd numbered homes water on odd days. Both are 6am-10 am and 6pm-10pm on your designated days. Please be mindful and conserve water!

*Council & Volunteers will be touring a number of business & areas in town while possessing a method of mobility assistance (such as a wheelchair or walker) on the morning of June 4th.

Strategic Priorities Water Supply and Distribution Improvements Project - made possible thanks to Federal Gas Tax Fund. Barriere receives

Road Restrictions are in effect as of February 09, 2016.

Barriere Emergency Room Hours Change
As of Aug. 31, the Emergency Room and Health Centre will operate Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding statutory holidays.

Wastewater Connection Permit 
For (only) those owner's of property that will be hooking into the new downtown core wastewater system, a Wastewater Connection Permit is required. There is NO FEE payable to the District in order to obtain this required permit.  If you have any questions about this permit, or are unsure if your property is subject to this requirement, contact the District office at (250) 672-9751.
