Odd numbered houses can water on odd days.
Even numbered houses can water on even days between the
hours of 6am 10am and 6pm-10pm.
Please conserve water!

Load Restriction Advisory

The District of Barriere has resolved to follow the Ministry of Transportation Road Restrictions within the municipal boundaries as follows:

Pursuant to Section 66 of the Transportation Act the following load restrictions will be imposed, on the following Municipal  Roads until further notice:

LOAD RESTRICTIONS within the District of Barriere,

Effective 8:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on Monday March 09, 2015

EXCEPT as listed below:

100% Legal Axle Loading
Barriere Town Road
Barriere Lakes Road from Barriere Town Road to District Boundary

Wastewater Connection Permit 
For (only) those owner's of property that will be hooking into the new downtown core wastewater system, a Wastewater Connection Permit is required. There is NO FEE payable to the District in order to obtain this required permit.  If you have any questions about this permit, or are unsure if your property is subject to this requirement, contact the District office at (250) 672-9751.
